 Sick Parade

Peter Nelms tells us that in early December (2007) , Ian Edgar (right) was operated on at the Calvary Hospital in the northern suburbs of Canberra, for a cancer under his tongue. He was home for Christmas and is improving every day although we believe it will be a little while before he gets stuck into the sugar coated peanuts.

Ian is hoping for a medical clearance soon so he can renew his private pilot's licence and is also considering a claim to DVA for "smoking induced cancer".

We wish you a speedy recovery Ian and hope it's not too long before you're out there again, bouncing around below five in one of those little tin cans, area QNHing with the best of them..........

We ran this photo of the (about) 1961 Radschool volley ball team in our last issue and asked if anyone could put a name to any of the faces. A lot of blokes reckoned number 4 was either George Clooney or Brad Pitt, so we put a call into George Clooney in Hollywood and he confirmed that even though number 4 sure did look like him, it was instead his WA mate, Ted McEvoy. Number 7 is Kerry Seibold, officer instructor, so that's two down, 4 to go. We think number 10 is also an officer instructor, 13 was a Cpl instructor and not sure about 8 and 9.

Mick Ryan sent us these 4 photos of the RAAF Laverton Golf Club reunion. Picured are a bunch of RADTECH's working at Radschool, 1AD, and SUP COM circa 1984.  Can anyone provide some names??

Paranoids are people, too; they have their own problems
